Coalition response...A few facts are needed to correct this writer’s comments. The Delta flow report written by the state water board was admittedly done in a vacuum, as stated by water board representatives. This narrow study was ordered by the Legislature with specific instructions not to consider any other water needs. There is nothing “landmark” about it. Also, a UOP study put the job losses in the salmon industry as only 1,823.
