Coalition response...Highway signs have been helpful through the years to educate the public about the value of water to grow the food and fiber that everyone relies upon. Too many people do not realize the roller-coaster ride that farmers must endure from one year to the next in receiving their water supplies. Farmers are a very resilient group but if they do not receive adequate water then we will once again see land remain unplanted and employees losing their jobs.. These are real consequences and the public needs to realize what happens on our farms will directly impact them.
